Juliana is a familiar face around IDA. She is an instructor for many of our recreational, pre-competitive and adult classes, as well as an administrative assistant in the office.
Juliana is trained and examined in Cecchetti ballet, and was educated under the guidance of Ethel Markall, Amelia Jackson, and Laura McRury. She is a graduate of Dance Teacher University through DanceTeacherWeb and the University of Nevada Las Vegas. In addition, she is also a member of International Dance Acclaim. She has choreographed for multiple community groups over the years, including events, celebrations, competitions, and shows.
Outside of dance, Juliana is a graduate of Lakehead University and is employed in health care. She is married with two daughters who are also competitive dancers.
Juliana is passionate about educating young beginning dancers about musicality, performance, and technique, and equally as passionate about providing a safe, fun, and rewarding experience for dancers of all ages and abilities.
