Piper Lidkea

Instructor

Piper began her dance journey at the age of three in Fort Frances before continuing her training in International Falls, Minnesota.

At just six years old, Piper entered the world of competitive dance, regularly competing in Thunder Bay and Duluth. Her passion for the performing arts grew through active involvement in plays, musicals, and productions throughout her childhood and high school years—blending her love for singing, dancing, and acting.

She completed her senior years at International Dance Academy, where she studied a wide range of styles including ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, and pointe. She has also performed highland dance across various stages and parades, further deepening her love for performance.

Outside of dance, Piper is a dedicated soccer player and currently competes with the Lakehead University Soccer Club. She is also pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Lakehead University, with aspirations of becoming a Registered Nurse and potentially continuing on to medical school.

She is excited to continue growing with the IDA family and looks forward to sharing her passion, energy, and love for dance with students this season.
