Tara Green

Born and raised in Thunder Bay, Tara has been a member of the dance community for over 35 years. As a dancer she trained under the CDTA syllabi in Tap and Jazz and began assisting and teaching at a young age.

Outside of dance, Tara completed her Bachelor of Education degree in 2005 and works for the Lakehead District School Board. She is also the mother of two daughters and is proud to watch them discover and explore their love of dance.

Whether in a classroom or the studio, she hopes not only to encourage and motivate students to achieve all they are capable of, but also to make a positive impact on their future. Helping students to see their potential and learn from not only teachers but from everyone they encounter is the ultimate goal.
